AEGEAN RADAR · OFFICIAL SOURCES
Official warnings for the Aegean
We show only warnings published by official bodies, always with their dates and a link to the original. We do not create our own warnings, do not detect “incidents” and do not turn news into alerts.
Loading the official warnings…
Weather warnings (MeteoAlarm · HNMS)
Warnings in force or upcoming for Greek regions, as published by the Hellenic National Meteorological Service on MeteoAlarm. Only warnings that have not yet expired are listed.
Navigational warnings (HNHS · Hellenic Navwarns)
Recently published warnings for Aegean areas (exercises, firing practice, cable work, wrecks, unlit buoys…). The publication date is always shown. A validity period is shown only when the warning states one; warnings whose stated period has ended and warnings cancelled by a later notice are hidden. There is no official “currently in force” list in this feed, so always open the original before going out.
Always check the official sources
- Hellenic Navy Hydrographic Service — Hellenic Navwarns
- MeteoAlarm — Greece · HNMS (EMY)
- Hellenic Coast Guard — sailing bans and port notices
Sailing bans (“apagoreftiko”) are issued by the Coast Guard and are not in these feeds. In an emergency at sea call 112 or 108.
